Noctu × S&S Precision PF-M Adapter Kit
Run your PlateFrame Modular on a Noctu frame.
S&S Precision built the PF-M to pull load off your trapezius and spread it across your upper torso. Noctu takes that idea one step further and moves the load off your torso entirely, onto your hips. This kit is the bridge between the two.
Developed together with S&S Precision, it replaces the mounting interface on both ends: S&S shoulder adapters swap in for the Noctu originals, and S&S cummerbund adapters tie your Auto-Fit Cummerbund directly to the Noctu frame. Everything that makes the PF-M yours stays exactly as it is — your cummerbund, your placards, your fit. What changes is where the weight ends up.

Installation
Two stages. The shoulders are straightforward. The cummerbund is not, and you should read the whole section before you start.
Shoulders. Remove the existing Noctu shoulder adapters and install the S&S adapters using the supplied hardware.
Cummerbund. The factory cummerbund attachment points have to come off first. They're secured with Loctite 271, a high-strength threadlocker that will not back out cold — it has to be heated to release. Once they're off, the S&S cummerbund adapters mount to the cummerbund, then to the frame, using the supplied hardware.
⚠ Read this before you touch it.
Loctite 271 releases at roughly 250°C / 480°F. Your cummerbund is nylon, and nylon starts to soften and melt in that same range. The margin is real, but it isn't wide.
Heat the fastener, not the fabric [We recommend using a soldering iron]. Back the fastener out while it's still hot.
Do not use a torch.
