Atlantic Signal built the 21GC around a deliberate decision: move the core off your chest and onto your back, so the real estate up front stays open for the devices you actually need to reach. Good call. The problem has always been what you bolt it to — and what happens to the cable slack once you do.
Noctu's frame has dead space back there. Not a compromise, not a spot you're stealing from something else. Ferro Concepts made use of it. The 21GC Plate bolts directly to the rear of the Noctu frame using the frame’s existing holes. No drilling, no modification, nothing permanent, and cradles the 21GC comms core: unit secured, cable runs routed and dressed, nothing swinging, nothing snagging when you go prone or through a door.
The result is a comms install that disappears. Paddles stay forward where your hands are. The bundle sits flat against the frame, off your kit, out of your way — carried by the structure that's already carrying your load, not hung off a panel that has to bear it.
For teams already running the 21GC on Noctu, this replaces zip ties and improvisation with one repeatable install that looks the same on every kit in the section.
